Prahlad Friedman is so sick. He KNOWS what Jamie most likely had but couldn’t make the call because it cost him too much… Very sick.

Jamie got Prahlad to fold simply by messing with his head. Who said Jamie wasn’t a Poker Genius? GUESS AGAIN!

Now I’m a huge Jamie fan but this isn’t Jamie Gold is it? Complaining about people overplaying hands, calling out for a run of cards, etc… Come on Jamie — that’s what you want. People have to overplay their hands — it’s what makes you so much more likely to win than those morons. Let them overplay their hands — and take their money.

I do like it when he talks about the troubles of celeb life… I’m so sure it gets tough for Jamie…

Jamie has TOP/TOP!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN I HAVE TOP TOP. I TOLD YOU I HAVE TOP TOP!! People make fun of Jamie because of this hand but I actually think it’s funny, in a panzy-kind of way.

The table talk didn’t matter too much in the hand — it was destined to go down like this. Luckily for Jamie, no diamond rolled off.

Jamie Gold on CNBC after winning WSOP 2006

After winning the World Series of Poker main event back in 2006, Jamie is asked to appear on CNBC to talk about an imminent ban on online poker. He’s also asked about his past, a life in Hollywood.

Not the most exciting video footage ever taken, and Jamie does slip up at one point, saying: “I was always honest, and I’m honest at the poker table too —- [silence] —- I just try to trick people now”.

Eeeeuh… right, Jamie….

Jamie Gold vs. Paul Wasicka final table

Starting off this fanblog, off course we have to show the table that made Jamie the poker-millionaire he is today: the final table of the world series of poker back in 2006. What an excellent sale on that final hand, and you can’t blame Paul Wasicka for calling, Jamie probably would have if he was in the same position.

Excellent heads-up battle, enjoyed every single minute of the tournament too. Congratulations Jamie!
