Now I’m a huge Jamie fan but this isn’t Jamie Gold is it? Complaining about people overplaying hands, calling out for a run of cards, etc… Come on Jamie — that’s what you want. People have to overplay their hands — it’s what makes you so much more likely to win than those morons. Let them overplay their hands — and take their money.

I do like it when he talks about the troubles of celeb life… I’m so sure it gets tough for Jamie…

Omaha in High Stakes Poker Season 5

PPPPoker.com has just posted about High Stakes Poker Season 5, and according to GSN Board Member Michael Zeisser there will be no more No-Limit Texas Hold’em on the show.

I believe this will mean we won’t be seeing Mr. Jamie Gold on the next HSP season. Who can we expect? Sam Farha is obviously a huge Omaha player, but so are Daniel Negreanu, David Benyamine, ….

This should prove to be excellent tv, though…

Sam Farha’s Aces vs. Jamie Gold’s Kings

Both Sam Farha and Jamie Gold feel like they’re playing like a genius pre-flop (which I believe they both are, this is superstar poker by both of them, rightfully thinking they have the best hand) - but it’s cold deck for Jamie. From the turn on, Jamie realizes he might be up against AA and he manages to push Sammy off of his game and save some money that was going in anyway.

This is the strength of Jamie Gold. Played this great.

I hate to see videos of Jamie when he’s acting like this… He’s talking about football (fine), poker (eeuh, not that ok) — but when he talks about the charities he just looks like a total douche… How can someone not know what kind of charity he is there for? He’s basicly saying: “I don’t give a flying *** about the charities, I’m in it for the cash”.

Look, Jamie’s not like this — I hope, but he really should watch his mouth when people are watching… Image-wise, that is. :s
