My latest monthly Trend Spotting column for Kitchen & Bath Design News shares my impressions from January’s expo in Cologne, Germany. It was my third time visiting LivingKitchen and first with the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Global Connect program. (It was great representing my professional association to our international colleagues!) What’s always exciting about touring the European shows is knowing that the trends seen there will be crossing the Atlantic to inform our U.S.-based trends. It happens faster than ever now, and some of our American trends make their way to Europe, too. (Farmhouse sinks is a perfect example of that cross-trending.)
