GOLD NOTES

NUGGETS FROM THE WORLD OF RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
Experts Share The Best Tips And Trends For Setting Up Homework Spaces

It’s been more than a decade since I had a child in school. That young lady is now a public school teacher herself! But I know many readers still do have kids at home, and ’tis the season for sending them back to class. While teachers like my stepdaughter make a tremendous difference in their academic success, as do guidance counselors and parents, of course, don’t underestimate the importance of creating a study space for your student at home.

I interviewed three experts – an educational designer, smart home technology integrator and wellness design-focused psychologist – on the best ideas for setting up a study area in your home. You can read that article here, then join us this afternoon on Clubhouse for a follow up conversation. Here’s a link to that event.
