New White House Covid Initiative Tackles Indoor Air Quality Improvements

This is not a political blog, but every so often, my focus on wellness design intersects with political events and trends. This is one of those times. Last week, the White House announced a new indoor air quality initiative, formally acknowledging the link between better ventilation and reducing the spread of Covid.

I wrote about this almost two years ago, as you may recall, when the CDC posted and deleted the guidance about the virus being aerosolized. That is established scientific fact now and it has significant consequences for how our buildings are ventilated — and about how safe and healthy we are inside them.

In this latest piece, I talk about the initiative and its implications for the buildings where Americans live. Take a look and let me know your thoughts.
