The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show is a trade expo I look forward to attending pretty much every year, especially when my best friend Dean, a luxury architect in Los Angeles, joins me for the trip. Covid turned KBIS into a virtual event this year, which took away the whole friend/social angle so many of us enjoy, but made it less tiring too. I’ll be sharing my full trend report in Kitchen & Bath Design News’ April Trend Spotting column. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to bring you the perspective of six top industry-watching pals on the KBIS trends they spotted. You’ll find that here in my latest Forbes.com piece.

Next week, I’ll share these pals’ favorite products from KBIS. Be sure to subscribe to this blog if you haven’t already.

BOOK BUZZ
You can now find two Wellness by Design book excerpts, one on primary bathrooms from Connecticut Cottages & Gardens (pages 76-77) and one on creating a fitness space at home from the San Diego Union-Tribune. See why this late 2020 release ended up on best books list for the year!
I’m always grateful for glowing reviews of my books. You can find them on Goodreads and Amazon. (I’d greatly appreciate your reviews too! Here’s a downloadable form to quickly and easily write one you can copy/paste onto your favorite book sites.)

While getting vaccinated will help reduce your chances of contracting this virus, it could be months more before you get your shots. In the meantime, the FREE Healthy Home Guide for Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic download I wrote can help keep you and your household safer where you live. You can get your copy here.
