This is not a political blog or post, and I’m not a political writer, but every once in a great while, a political story emerges with great wellness design potential. This is one of those stories. Last week, President Biden introduced a $2 trillion infrastructure plan chock full of healthy home ideas. I share those ideas in my latest Forbes.com piece. Now, for the record, I have some serious quibbles with the plan, but this is about its benefits for the places we all live.
One of the plan’s worthwhile goals is to increase accessible housing stock in the country.

My Wellness by Design book was included in an Interesting Reading List as “excellent” by colleague and friend Scott Koehler in his Dream Kitchens design blog.
Would you like to review the book yourself on Amazon, Goodreads or another favorite book site? Here’s a fillable form you can use to create a review, then copy/paste it to multiple sites and make reviewing faster and easier. (You might need to download the form to your computer, depending on which operating system and browser you’re using.)
I’m in escrow on a new detached home half a mile from my current Chez J townhouse! Tomorrow is its inspection. Wish me luck that all goes as planned! If so, there will be many, many posts with details and pics on turning it from a 16-year-old suburban house to my new wellness abode! Fingers and toes x’ed!!!
Upcoming posts will focus on setting up your home for telehealth, Earth Day, outdoor living tips, and granny flats that really make sense for grandma!
