If you’ve been paying attention to national news this past week or so, you probably heard or read about the new Inflation Reduction Act. President Biden signed it into law last Tuesday, August 16th. Much of the attention has focused on two areas: Climate incentives and healthcare benefits.
I wanted to spotlight a benefit that’s getting next to no attention: an incentive that covers electric ranges and cooktops. Big deal, you say, remembering the red hot burners in your first apartment. Yeah, those stunk. But there’s a newer type of electric cooking technology that has huge wellness potential. That’s what I focused my latest piece on. You can read it here. And starting in 2023, you can get a federal incentive for buying a new wellness-focused cooktop or range.
