Coronavirus Drives Residential Outdoor Living Demand And Trends

If you spent the last few months of winter cooped up in your home, keeping yourself and your family as safe as possible from catching the highly contagious coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic, you’re probably grateful for these longer, warmer days spent outdoors. You probably also spent some of those indoor hours considering how to improve your outdoor spaces — possibly moving summer travel dollars to the home improvement column. You’re not alone in that! I interviewed some experienced hands in the outdoor living space and they all say demand is up for projects that make your yard, deck, patio, balcony, roof garden or other outdoor areas more enjoyable.
